Fantastic overnight stay, all members of staff were absolutely lovely and couldn't have been more accommodating, the food was amazing and the facilities were great. Bed was huge and really comfy, underfloor heating in the bathroom was a treat too!

Second visit here and just as amazing as the first. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome and looked after. A special mention to the chef, who not only served an incredible gluten-free sticky toffee pudding, but also kindly shared the recipe with my partner after she mentioned how much she loved it. Can’t wait to return!

We’ve just come back from the most gorgeous two-night stay at Schloss Roxburghe Spa in Kelso and I honestly can’t recommend it enough. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt special. My friend and I were so impressed with the warm welcome, Philip in particular made such a difference to our stay. He greeted us with genuine friendliness and took the time to give us a full tour of the facilities, explaining everything clearly and making us feel completely at ease. It instantly set the tone for a relaxing couple of days. The spa itself is beautiful – calm, spotless, and thoughtfully designed. The facilities are fantastic, with plenty of space to unwind without feeling crowded. Every area felt luxurious yet comfortable, and you can tell real care goes into maintaining the atmosphere. Our two nights were exactly what we needed: restful, indulgent and stress-free. The staff throughout were attentive and professional, but never intrusive. Nothing felt like too much trouble. It’s rare to find somewhere that gets both the service and the setting just right, but Schloss Roxburghe Spa absolutely does. We’ll definitely be back – and we’ll be recommending it to everyone we know.

Absolutely stunning hotel and grounds. I stayed for two nights in one of the cottages, it was beautiful, I could have moved in permanently. Such a home from home feeling. Food and service was fantastic. On site shop with local products. Really friendly staff. Lots of beautiful walks and activities on site. We will be back

Overall lovely stay. Pro’s: - clean, excellent spa facilities, posh restaurants, superb whiskey bar, well decorated rooms, clean and well maintained Cons: - Service - lengthy wait times particularly on Saturday night (heaving), not enough staff and then cheeky 12.5% service charge added for limited service. Sunnylaws took 3 hours to complete meal (fed up by the end). Staff need to scan tables better rather than focussing on one thing at a time. - Spa was overcrowded on Saturday - far too many members and lodge guests allowed to enter. There was no room to try out different spa facilities as a result. - Leave the fires on the fireplaces until nearer closing time as the rooms get cold!

Had a brilliant stay in one of the cottages at Schloss a few weekends ago. From arrival (with a lovely tour from Philip) to check out we experienced excellent,friendly service, in particular from the staff in the tea room and at the spa. We had afternoon tea and were given a lovely surprise of fizz to mark our special occasion. The spa was brilliant, they are aware there can be a problem with it being very busy, but it was clearly explained in our booking confirmation for the cottage that spa access was separate and wasn't guaranteed. On speaking to staff,this is something they are working on,however we had no problem by planning our arrival at spa quickly after check in, and not reserving beds when we didn't plan to use them. The saunas and plunge pool were amazing. The cottage was so comfortable and spotless, and we loved our breakfast from the shop. A fantastic stay in beautiful surroundings.

I travel for work as a lone female and this is one of the best locations and hotels I have stayed in. Attentive staff that are genuinely happy to help you. Molten brown toiletries, the whole place smells divine. The spa is tranquil, not over crowded and spotlessly clean with all amenities stocked up. I stayed in room 210, with heated floors, a heated towel radiator - and a rain shower. In room climate control fully functional as I like my room warm. The Spa is the place to be to relax, rewind and be at peace. Pool is lovely and warm. Highly recommend and have stayed here twice.

Great Hotel and staff. Attention to detail 1st class. Evening meal was excellent too. Disappointed by a buffet breakfast and also not very good. We thought there was a Steam room outside along with a sauna, turns out it was 2 sauna's and no steam room.
